What is a Metin2 Private Server?

A Metin2 Private Server (PServer) is a player-operated alternative to the official Metin2 server. These servers often offer higher experience rates, custom items and a unique gameplay experience. Many PServers are free to play and feature an active community.

Finding the Right Server

Use our toplist to find the perfect server for you. Pay attention to the category (Oldschool, Middleschool, Newschool), the max level, available languages and the number of votes. Servers with many positive reviews and an active community are usually a good choice.

Downloading and Setting Up the Client

Most PServers provide their own client for download. Visit the server website, download the client and follow the installation instructions. Important: Only download clients from the official server website to avoid viruses and trojans.

Creating Your Character

Choose one of the three kingdoms (Shinsoo, Chunjo or Jinno) and create your character. Each kingdom has its own strengths. Popular classes for beginners are the Warrior (high defense) and the Ninja (high damage). Complete the beginner quests to earn your first equipment and experience.

Tips for Fast Leveling
