What is a Metin2 oldschool server?
An oldschool server recreates Metin2 the way it played before the big content updates. Low level cap, slow experience curves, scarce drops. A +9 item is a weekly goal here, not starting gear.
People play oldschool for competition rather than progress: because gear is hard to get, fights are decided by game knowledge more than by the item shop. The downside is the same point from the other side - if you have little time, you will fall behind.
Check before you start: how long has the server been running, how many players are online at your playtime, and does the shop sell gear or only cosmetics? An oldschool server with a pay-to-win shop contradicts its own concept.
