Metin2 Event Calendar 2026

Von Metin2-Toplist Redaktion ·

Most servers time their big events by the real calendar. Halloween runs in late October, the winter event across the holidays. Where the windows fall this year is below – along with what kinds of events exist at all, and how to tell whether a server takes its announcements seriously.

The seasonal windows

These periods repeat every year because they are tied to public holidays. The dates below are for 2026.

Event Window Peak Status
Harvest festival
A classic from the original game: bonus drops on resources and upgrade materials.
– running now
Halloween
Pumpkins, costumes, horror dungeons. After the winter event, the most elaborate one most servers run.
– in 20 days
Winter event
The longest event of the year. Snow maps, gift boxes, usually raised rates over the holidays.
– in 71 days
Valentine's Day
Short and small: couple quests, special items, occasionally a weekend bonus.
– in 135 days
Easter event
Egg hunts and collection quests. Moves every year with the date of Easter.
– in 172 days
Summer event
The widest window. Beach maps, collection drives, often several EXP weekends in a row.
– in 274 days

Important: this is not any individual server's schedule, it is the windows the scene works to. Exactly when a server starts its event will be in its Discord, not here. Some begin a few days early, others let theirs run longer.

The kinds of events

Besides the seasonal festivals, most servers run three other kinds that are not tied to the calendar:

EXP and drop events

Double experience or a raised drop rate, almost always at the weekend. This is the most common kind of event by far, because it costs the owner nothing but a server setting. On newschool servers it sometimes runs permanently – at which point it is no longer an event, it is just the normal rate.

Vote events

Rewards for voting for the server on a toplist. Premium currency or consumables are the usual thing. For the server it is advertising, for you it is a small bonus – both legitimate, as long as the reward is not so strong that people who do not vote fall behind.

PvP and guild tournaments

Announced competitions with a fixed date and prizes. These tell you the most about a server: anyone who organises a tournament, moderates it and actually pays out the prizes generally looks after the rest too.

How to spot a well-run server

Not by how many events are announced, but by how they are announced:

  • A date and a time, plus the time zone. Without the zone, a time is worthless.
  • Rewards are set beforehand and not adjusted halfway through.
  • The announcement arrives a few days ahead, not twenty minutes after the start.
  • Whatever was promised last time was actually paid out. The Discord history will tell you.

A server with one event a month that reliably happens is worth more than one with weekly announcements where half never take place.

Events by server type

On oldschool servers events are rare and generous – that is how the original worked too. Middleschool sits in between: regular EXP weekends, properly built seasonal events. On newschool servers something is running more or less constantly, which makes any single event less of an occasion. Which is better depends on whether you want variety or rarity.
